Jeri LaVigne, EdD, PhD is an Educational Psychologist who has been working in the field of brain health for more than 35 years. She has certifications in kinesiology, functional neurology, craniosacral therapy, and Chinese medicine. She is a prolific workshop facilitator, conference speaker, and business coach and she has assisted in creating several non-profit organizations, providing medical and educational programs and supplies to children in need around the world. Dr. Jeri is an Irlen Director and works internationally with the Irlen Syndrome Foundation, bringing educational tools and resources to schools in Ghana, Africa. She is a graduate of the Edwene Gaines’ Master Prosperity Training, and a certified fire walk instructor.
As a practitioner, Dr. Jeri believes that when our emotions are balanced, the body enters a state of chemical homeostasis. This is a state in which all the bodily systems work in unison and the brain-cell communication loop runs unobstructed, creating a positive atmosphere for the body to self-rejuvenate. In the same way that our head is connected to our body, our mentality is connected to our immunity. Thus, when the mind is calm and positive, it is not blocking the healing force from flowing and helping our body restore its integrity.
She is also part of the clinic’s VSEL team and understands that optimal health requires balance on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and Spiritual. In addition to the physical procedure, our VSEL program incorporates various techniques that address each of these levels for the greatest possible overall outcome for each patient. With over 35 years of neuroscientific and cognitive family practice, Dr. Jeri works closely with the family and patient to identify and integrate the mental and emotional aspects of the injury or area of concern. Using a variety of modalities, we gently explore any area of concern and create goals to further promote the healing experience for the whole person.
